How many of you like shopping? How many of you own an expensive cellphone? How many of you listen to an iPod?
Sometime over the next two weeks please make sure to watch this video all about “stuff” we consume. It really makes us think about the way we organize our economies in relation to our lifestyles.
We have discussed China’s plans to create a stronger consumer core, creating more domestic demand and less reliance on exports. This video is a pretty potent reminder of what exactly that type of society entails.
